Louisiana Welcome Center in Slidell, LA & Orange Travel Information Center

We woke up really early today to continue our journey back to Texas. We stopped at the Lousiana Welcome Center in Slidell. Since we were hella early it was closed except for their bathrooms but I was able to take a picture by the sign. Yay!

We got our breakfast at Burger King and we were off!

When we finally entered Texas our caravan separated. I think my parents were already anxious to get home even if we were still many, many, MANY miles away. We all met at the Orange Travel Information Center in Orange, TX. We rested here a bit before continuing on. Although we had slept in a hotel the night before we were still very tired. Texas is very big and like a switch crossing at the state line, we remembered.
